and features of the areas he traveled to.
Scott spent several summers in King Cove, Alaska in and about the commercial fishing
industry. He enjoyed the fishing and wildlife plus all the fishing industry had to offer. It is
where he developed his interest in boats. He later had a successful business building
aluminum boats. He was a talented custom boat builder, fabricator, welder, and
maintainer of equipment.
Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, camping and
random drives in the mountains. In his later years he became interested in vintage dragsters,
driving and racing at Riverdale and Yakima (Renegade) Raceways.
Scott will be remembered for the way he made you smile and laugh. He was very
thoughtful, kind, and ready to help friends or family in need.
