Jedediah B. Jackson, a. k. a. Jed, passed away on March 21, 2024 in Lynnwood Washington. Jed was born in Fullerton California. Jed lived in Southern California until the age 13 and then moved to Washington. Jed had many struggles to which he ultimately succumbed. He is survived by his Mom, Dad, and two brothers. Jed had many other family members such as, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jed was very precious to us. Jed was a free spirit and had a big heart with compassion for all. Jed had a guttural and infectious laugh and a winning smile with twinkling eyes. He will be sorely missed. Jed had many friends. Jed loved the water especially the beaches of Southern CA; he could play in the waves for hours. We have many fond memories including Mommy and Me baby swimming lessons, reciting, at age 9, the complete poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas”, playing Little League baseball, singing in the school choir, graduating high school from Edmonds Community College, enjoyment of fishing, inner-tubing in the snow, hiking at Joshua Tree, enjoying water parks (Raging Waters in San Dimas CA, Wild Waves in Federal Way WA, and Birch Bay Waterslides), enjoying carnivals and amusement parks (Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, and Magic Mountain), numerous family vacations (Lake Havasu City, AZ, Lake Shasta on a houseboat, motor home trip from Southern CA to WA, and road trip from Southern CA to Arkansas), many camping excursions, and lots of family gatherings especially holidays, and many more too numerous to mention. Jed loved music and movies. A few of his favorite movies were “The Karate Kid”, “Gleaming the Cube”, and “Sword and the Stone”. Jed loved “The Karate Kid” so much that he asked for and received a Karate outfit and could perform a Karate kick.
